It all started in 2004 on August 20th.

We were only 16 and I never knew that he was going to be the one!

We met at a camping resort that was kind of a ritual for my family to go every august and I would of never guessed marrying someone I just bumped into!

We both live in different cities and had to learn how to enjoy every minute we had together and appreciate the little time we got to spend together.

Long distance relationships are the hardest, but prove the most worthwhile.

So Darcy decided to propose on our anniversary this august after 6 years of dating.

It all started at one of our family get togethers and it seemed like no other night and something I wouldn't have expected infront of our families! But it all began when the subject of "our future" came into topic and everyone had questions about where I would be working and when we planned on getting married....and somewhere in all this discussion I heard Darcy say out loud " well the only way that could happen is if she says yes!" and I turned around and he was on his knee with a box and a beautiful ring in it. I think I was shocked at first because I didn't say anything and I couldn't manage to get any words out so I just nodded yes...I had a permenant smile on my face the rest of the night!!

I never could of imagined falling in love with anyone else and look forward to our wonderful life together!
