My fiancé has always been the romantic, sweet type of guy, but I never expected our proposal to be amazing! A couple weeks ago my 2 girlfriends texted me in a group chat about an event in Los Angeles we were invited to, it was a jewelry launch party at a house in West Hollywood Hills, the theme was a black tie affair and we had to wear either black or white. My girlfriends and I spent weeks planning outfits and how to do our hair and makeup, we were all very excited. My fiancé dropped me off at the airport on Friday, October 20th, the event was on Saturday and I was going to come back home on Sunday, so it was going to just be a quick weekend trip. Friday night my girls and I went to dinner and went out for a bit and had a great time. Saturday we went to brunch at Pump, walked around for a bit because it was such a beautiful day and then we wanted to head back to our hotel and rest for a bit before getting ready for the event. I was told we needed to be at the event at 6 PM sharp to meet the host, so we left our hotel at about 5:45 PM, as we were only 1 mile away from the house the event was being held at. We pulled up to the house in Hollywood Hills and I thought it was strange that there were no cars around, but being the hills I figured of course no one is going to park here because there is no room for cars. So we knocked on the door and a man opened it, again I thought it was strange that there were no people in the house, but we were already inside at this point. The house was structured where you either went upstairs or downstairs from the front door, so I walked upstairs, my girlfriends following me. As I am walking up I see the top of someone's head in the far distance corner, I start to slowly hear music in the background and as I walk up a bit more I start seeing red roses everywhere, than i recognize the dong playing as one of mine and my fiancés favorite songs, I see our photos everywhere and him standing out on the balcony waiting for me. The house had retractable windows so the whole house was opened up to the balcony. When I got to the top and took it all in, i started crying and walked over to him. He gave the sweetest little speech and then proposed with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen!!! And the view was breathtaking; it was the entire LA skyline in the background. There were photographers there to capture every moment and we got a photo shoot with the background during sunset. Just thinking back to that moment my body gets chills filled with so much happiness and love. I found out after that my fiancé had called my 2 best friends and filled them in on the plan and that is when they started texting me about this fake event. He spent so much time researching and creating my dream proposal! I am the luckiest girl! | ||||||||
