Jarami cleverly conspired with my friend and fellow style blogger, Tiffany, to invite me to a 'blogger event' as her +1, so of course I dressed up and got cute without hesitation! She picked me up and we headed to the Georgian Terrace hotel, which was super nice. We walked into the lobby and all of a sudden she received a call from her 'mom'. She told me she had to take it, and walked away. I turned around and she had completely left my sight! As I sat down on a couch beginning to think something was up, out comes Jarami in a full suit with a single rose! Clearly nervous, he walked me to the elevator. When we got off on the top floor, he showed me to a double spiral staircase covered in rose petals and lined with candles. Our friend, Josh, was there playing his guitar and serenading us during our special moment. He walked me up the stairs, led me to a circle of candles and poured out his heart to me. Crying and overwhelmed with joy, I said yes after he got down on one knee and popped the question. I couldn't have imagined a more romantic proposal!
