Ray and I have been together for three years and finally after me graduating grad school we had a trip to Kauai planned with my sister and her husband. We planned a hike to Wailua falls but with flash flood warnings and hurricane warnings all of the locals warned us not to make the treacherous hike down. Me being the adrenaline junky I said, "let's do it." All I was thinking in my head is "we have to get a photo in front of that beautiful waterfall," not one single thought of a proposal in mind.

We made the hike down with my brother in law (my sister being too scared) and the first photo is the moment I turned around and saw him on one knee, I was completely shocked, caught off guard, the second is me in complete shock and asking if we was joking and the rest I think speak for themselves.

For me it was beyond my wildest dreams of how I would be proposed to :)
