My fiancé and I have been best friends since the 9th grade and a couple for about 5 years now. Last August we found out that we would be expecting a baby girl in March/April of this year. I scheduled our maternity photo shoot for the Monday following our baby shower (weekend of Valentines day) so it was a very busy and crazy weekend. We exchanged small valentines gifts the day before the baby shower/valentines day because we figured it was going to be a busy weekend, lets celebrate early! He told me there was another gift in the mail but I didn't think anything of it. Our baby shower came and went and we had a "romantic" dinner at Chllis the following day, to celebrate Valentines day. The day of our maternity shoot came and I wasn't very excited about it because I had found out our dog wouldn't be able to attend because the beach we were taking our pictures at didn't allow dogs..Tyler had convinced me that this was still going to be an exciting experience despite our first baby not being in the pictures. We took most of our pictures and as the sun was setting our photographer told me she wanted to get a few shots of me by myself so she took about 5 minutes positioning me in the "perfect spot" (I thought she was being ridiculous, she hadn't taken THAT long to position us in the previous pictures) after finally getting in the right angle tyler walked up to me, held my hands and told me he was excited for Amelia (the name of our daughter-to-be) I was honestly thinking to myself "okay hurry up so we can take the picture" As I was thinking this, he started getting onto one knee, asked me to marry him and after a minute or two of crying, being in shock and nodding my head I managed to blurt out "Yes yes yes!" We got every single second of this beautiful moment on camera to share with our baby girl when she gets here. | |||||||
