My fiance Michael and I had been together for 2 years and gone to Las Vegas on vacation twice in that time. We had a third Las Vegas trip planned for August 2012. Michael pulled out all the stops: a penthouse suite, gourmet dinner, and a planned helicopter ride later that evening. I told him that I just wanted to relax but he insisted, so of course I went along with it. After dinner we were picked up by a limo and taken to the helicopter station. While we were waiting for our pilot to finish getting the helicopter ready (or so I thought), Michael asked if I'd like to take a look at the gift store. I love to shop so of course I agreed. In the shop, I looked around at the various jewelry, trinkets, and other stuff, while he stood behind me. Then, I heard his voice behind me say " Can I ask you a question?". Turning around I began to say "sure" and say him on one knee with the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. He said "Will you be my wife?". |
