* Please click on the picture to enlarge You cannot vote for this story anymore, as this story participated in constest that ended on October 30, 2010	On Thursday March 19th, 2010 I proposed to my girlfriend at Casa Mendoza near Toronto. That night I had invited her, my best friend (on video camera) and his wife to help capture the surprise experience. Around 8:30PM I brought her to the piano unknowing to her that I was going to play the intro to a song I had secretly been practicing - You by Jesse Powell. From there, I brought her to the centre of the dance floor to do my proposal. My last surprise, I had my music instructor come down to play the entire ballad, as well as two singers actually do a duet and sing the song! A great night that I'll never forget... Sheri and I had been together since October 2006, and I just wanted the proposal to be something very special as she means that much to me. Hope you enjoy our story! ~Rob Mahoney and Sheri Ashton

I would just like to thank all the staff at Best For Bride in Etobikoke for helping my daughter and I find what we were looking for. I can't remember the ladies name that was helping us at the time but she was a tall woman and I believe her name began with a D.
