It adds a little touch of accentuation, which you can liven up a fair bit by choosing more vivid colors for the gerberas. It's also a pretty low setting with a wider base, and those are safest if there are going to be children around because there's less chance of it tipping over. It is neither ostentatious nor lavish, but the subtlety of its elegance is heartfelt just the same.
