Wedding Expert Minute Tip 34 - Tips on Picking Plus Size Wedding Gowns

Not all women are gifted with that slim and slender body. Brides who require plus size wedding gowns should be very careful when choosing which dress would flatter their bodies. There are certain fabrics, designs, and cut that would suit you best. Here are the tips to help you out: 1. Determine your actual body shape. Plus size women can either be pear-shaped or apple-shaped. For pear-shaped brides, an empire cut gown is ideal for it draws the focus on your bottom. For round or apple-shaped brides, a wedding gown with a simple neckline and embellished A-line skirt is recommended. 2. The wedding dress made of satin with a ruched design is recommended. Of all the fabrics used for a wedding gown, satin is a plus size woman's best friend. And as far as designs are concerned, ruched is the best choice. This combination effectively hides all those bulges away. 3. Opt for lace sleeves and strapped gowns if you don't want to show off your arms. Not all plus-size brides are comfortable in showing off their arms. If you feel this way, look for wedding gowns with lace sleeves instead. It was a fantastic day and everyone said I looked amazing and I felt like a real princess for a day.
