If you're planning a spring or summer wedding and you'd like to enjoy a beautiful summer glow, without the sun damage, you may be wondering if using a self-tanner is really a good idea. Whether this type of beauty product is right for you really depends on your skin type. For very pale ladies with porcelain skin tones, self-tanners may give too much color, or even appear unnatural. In most cases, if you're very pale, it's better to stick with your own coloring, and then use blushes and lipsticks to add a rose petal glow.
Women who have medium skin tones are probably the best candidates for self-tanner, since it looks more natural on them.
To see if self-tanner is right for you, experiment with it months before your wedding day. Exfoliate, apply a high-end product, and then watch your results develop. Take digital pictures before and after, to see if self-tanner gives you the look that you want for your own trip down the aisle.
